Vaccination before the trip to Thailand

Thailand is a very popular destination, especially for us Swedes. There are several great places to see in Thailand, both cities and tourist destinations, but also smaller paradise islands that are perfect for day trips or just for a quiet vacation. Enjoy Thai food and experience the Buddhist culture up close.

Good to know before the trip to Thailand

Who does not long for the heat during a Swedish winter? In Thailand, you will find everything you need for a really successful holiday – turquoise blue sea to swim in, chalk-white beaches to lie and sunbathe on for hours and not least lots of fantastic shopping. The people of Thailand are widely known for their kindness and make one immediately feel welcome in the country. There is no risk of getting bored here, as there are lots of different activities to do. Why not take the opportunity to take a snorkeling trip and explore the coral reefs and the exotic fish, try climbing the mountains. You can safely say that there is something for everyone, whether you want a quiet and comfortable sun holiday or a slightly more adventurous trip.

Vaccination before your trip to Thaliand

Before the trip, it can be good to get vaccinated against Hepatitis A and if you are going to stay for a long time, for example if you are out backpacking, it is wise to also get vaccinated against Hepatitis B. Also do not forget to exchange money for Thai Baht. In Thailand, there is a time difference of 6 hours + compared to Sweden, which is good to be aware of. Once in Thailand, it is important to remember not to drink tap water as it is unusable. Instead, buy bottled water when you drink.

Best period to go to Thailand

The best time to go to Thailand is the period between November and February when it is high season and there is a great chance for good weather. During this period, it is usually sunny for at least eight hours a day and between 25 and 30 degrees warm.
