Medical Certificate for Studies Abroad

Are you planning to study abroad and need a medical certificate? Different countries, visa requirements and educational institutions have different requirements for medical certificates and tests. At our clinics in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, you can book an appointment and receive assistance from our physicians to ensure that your certificates are correctly completed and signed.

How it works

You book an appointment for a medical certificate at one of our clinics. Our physicians review your documentation and ensure that your certificate meets the required standards. In some cases, a physical examination, review of your medical history or laboratory testing may also be required.

Prepare for your visit

You will be in contact with us regarding your specific study medical certificate and what is required prior to your visit. If your certificate requires your vaccination history to be certified by a physician (for example childhood vaccinations), you will need to request records from municipal archives, child health centres (BVC) and schools, and bring these documents with you. This process may take some time, so please make sure to do this well in advance of your appointment.

Bring the required forms and supporting documents necessary to complete your specific certificate correctly. The medical examination for studies abroad may include a physical examination and review of your medical history. In some cases, laboratory tests are required. We work with a nearby testing centre, and our physicians will issue a referral if needed.
