Traveling to Asia offers unique experiences - from vibrant cities and tropical beaches to historical landmarks and exciting culinary traditions. Recommended vaccinations and protection
For many destinations in Asia, it's recommended to review your basic immunizations - meaning vaccines against tetanus, diphtheria, and polio. Hepatitis A is commonly advised even for shorter trips, as is typhoid in several areas. For certain destinations, such as parts of Southeast Asia, vaccinations against Japanese encephalitis or rabies are also recommended.For longer stays or travel with lower hygiene standards, vaccines against hepatitis B and cholera may be relevant. In several countries, malaria is present, and malaria prophylaxis may be necessary.
